We're hiring
1 person.
The right one.

eStreamly is early. We're not staffing up a department — we're picking the person who will help build the technical spine of a new way commerce works. If you've been waiting for the version of this job where you actually get to decide, this is it.

01 — The opportunity

Asia already runs on video commerce. Everyone else is 19% behind.

The thesis isn't subtle. It's why we exist. It's also why this role is interesting — there is a generational gap between where commerce is and where it's going, and you'd be building the layer that closes it for the rest of the world.

We're not chasing a trend. We're building the infrastructure for the version of ecommerce that already works — everywhere except here. Yet.

02 — The open role

Technical Architect /
Founding Engineering Lead.

Shape the technical vision for a video-commerce platform that already serves brands across web, social, livestream, email, SMS, and beyond. You decide the architecture. You hire the team behind you. You're hands-on when it matters and an owner the rest of the time.

How you'll have impact · what you'll do

Lead the platform. Hands on the keyboard when it counts.

  • Lead technical architecture decisions across the eStreamly platform — from video pipeline to checkout.
  • Coordinate development across internal and external engineering, and bring in the next hires.
  • Scale a modern video commerce infrastructure — reliability, performance, integrations, throughput.
  • Work directly with founders on product vision, technical roadmap, and what we ship next.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging AI and video tech — AI generation, personalization, attribution.
  • Build the connective tissue between video, ecommerce, creators, analytics, and personalization.
  • Define engineering best practices and the long-term technical strategy that scales past your tenure.

What we're looking for · the person

An entrepreneur in an engineer's body.

  • Strong full-stack architecture experience. You've made the calls, lived with them, and corrected the ones that aged badly.
  • Built scalable SaaS platforms before — ideally something that involved real production traffic and real customers.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the rapid-iteration tax of an early-stage environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and an ownership mentality — you treat the company like a co-owner would.
  • Strong product thinking and communication — you can explain a tradeoff to a non-engineer in one sentence.
  • Lead execution while staying hands-on when the moment calls for it. Both modes, fluently.
  • Genuinely curious about AI, ecommerce, media, the creator economy, and where video tech is going next.
Reality check. Compensation is primarily equity-based. We're not asking you to be immediately full-time. What we need is ownership, execution, and long-term alignment with the vision — in that order.
03 — Not for everyone

"If you're looking for a 9-to-4 with good pay and benefits, this is not for you."

04 — What we hire for

Three things, in writing, so we can be held to them.

/ Value 01

Diversity, no boundaries.

Talent has no color and no geography. Where you are, what you look like, who you trained with — none of it predicts whether you'll be great. We design our hiring around the work, not the resume.

/ Value 02

Fairness, structurally.

The deal has to be fair to the team, to our members, to our clients, and to our investors — not just to one of them. If a decision only works for one side of that table, it's not done yet.

/ Value 03

Entrepreneurship, required.

We seek people who impress us — contrarian opinions, hard work, initiative, and autonomy. The right hires don't need a manager to assign them the next problem. They show up with one.

05 — From the co-founder

"We're picking people very carefully. I don't want a hire — I want a partner in the technical work. Someone who'll disagree with me when I'm wrong, and own the room when I'm not in it."
